WHO WE ARE!
P.I.C.K. (People Investing in Community & Kids) is a non-profit organization located in Laconia, NH whose purpose is to enhance the lives of children in the community by providing opportunities for educational, spiritual and emotional growth. Even though our focus is on the children, we do not exclude the other family members. We have found that by providing the basic needs of families we are able to increase the potential of more positive outcomes for the children.
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
We are able to accomplish this goal through contributions from people like you. We also have a warehouse located at 107 Industrial Park Unit #40 in Laconia, NH where we accept donations of items to resell. Most of what we currently have are used wooden office furniture (desks, credenzas, filing cabinets, etc.). However, we are also receiving some household items such as refrigerators, chairs, etc. Call us to find out what we currently have, or to schedule a time to stop by at 603-273-0861.
WHAT ARE PROCEEDS USED FOR?
All excess funds raised through donations and fund raising events helps us help families and children in the following ways: summer camperships, Thanksgiving food baskets, Christmas gifts for children and food for their families, and helping families meet basic needs such as food, furnishings, and necessities.
